Breast Ultrasound Course 2015

On the 23rd of May, Apffelstaedt and Associates presented the second annual Breast Ultrasound Course.  The course was directed at clinicians who wanted to broaden their practice to include breast ultrasound and at radiologists and radiographers who wish to improve their understanding and experience of clinical problem solving in breast ultrasound. The course offered theoretical & practical solutions to all the challenges encountered in daily breast practice.

The course director was Professor Justus Apffelstaedt, who has a wealth of experience in practical ultrasound of the breast as well as teaching breast ultrasound internationally. The faculty and tutors are seasoned breast ultrasound practitioners.

The course consisted of a theory module followed by an extensive practical session. The practical included models for ultrasound guided biopsy and patients with defined pathology (including cancers).
